The BELLE ARTI Holiday Homes are located in the heart of the historic center of Palermo. The property is owned by Marco and Irene, a couple who deeply love their hometown of Palermo, its historical and cultural heritage, its sea and its undeniable charm.
The name "Belle Arti" refers to the proximity of the structure to the Academy of Fine Arts of Palermo located in Via Papireto, to the ancient art of manufacturing the "busi" practiced by some artisans in vicolo Busari and to the innumerable art forms they can admire in Palermo (painting and sculpture, music and dance, theater, architecture, photography, literature and cinema, which together are also called seven arts). The accommodation consists of totally independent apartments, which differ according to the fittings and the price range in two types: STANDARD and SUPERIOR
The superior apartments, a studio apartment and a two-room apartment, were renovated in 2018 and are located in VICOLO BUSARI. In this pedestrian street, in the past, there were shops of artisans who made knitting needles for knitting and stocking. as well as several shoemakers. Today it is a quiet and characteristic alley from which you can admire a splendid view of the Cathedral of Palermo.
Detail in the facade of the superior apartments: votive chapel of Santa Rosalia from 1896, historical heritage.
Along the stairs of the structure are exposed paintings of Sicilian inspiration painted by an esteemed Palermo painter. Specifically, they depict Moorish heads, churches of Palermo and the historic Bathing establishment of Mondello. Moreover in the tableau there are useful indications and a map of the city.
In the superior holiday homes you will have free use of an AUDIO FILODIFFUSION system IN THE ENTIRE HOME: to be able to comfortably listen to the music you prefer with a simple Bluetooth connection from your portable device (smartphone, tablet, PC, etc.). Just connect via bluetooth ... no cost and comfort guaranteed.
The standard apartments are located in vicolo Giancola.
The street is named after the famous sculptor and silversmith who had the privilege of working at the silver Urn of St. Rosalia preserved in the Cathedral of Palermo.
Vicolo Giancola, parallel to Vicolo Busari, is a typical street, folkloristic and popular, but very safe.
The apartments are ideal for those who love an essential and clean style at reasonable prices. Both holiday homes are recently renovated, totally independent, equipped with wifi and are often required even for medium-term stays.
